“Expect comedy, tragedy, tea and sympathy”FORGETTERS sind die neue Band um Gitarrist Blake Schwarzenbach (Ex-JETS TO BRAZIL, -JAWBREAKER), sowie Bassistin Caroline Paquita (Ex-BITCHIN) und Drummer Kevin Mahon (Ex- AGAINST ME!). Mit emotionalem Punkrock im Sinne alter Helden wie HÜSKER DÜ und JAWBREAKER geht es bei dem Trio aus Brooklyn, New York eindeutig rauer zu als zuletzt bei JETS TO BRAZIL: “Expect comedy, tragedy, tea and sympathy”.
WITCHES sind, zumindest teilweise, keine unbekannten mehr. Sängerin Cara Beth Satalino war erst Anfang März im Cairo zu Gast. Diesmal also mit Band und Verstärkern und laut: “From Athens/Georgia. Incredible mix of NEIL YOUNG, WIPERS/GREG SAGE, BREEDERZ and a shot of Dinosaur JR or something close to it ...”
